Thread: Boat reccomendations

Hello. If this is in the wrong forum i apologize. I am looking for a new boat. I have owned a 1984 Alumacraft Mv angler for over 20 years. I am now wanting to upgrade to a wider boat. (nicely used) I am a big guy. 6' 5" 275 and am pushing 50. My boat has just become too unstable for me now. It's not that wide and rocks and rolls with 2 people in it. I am looking at v bottom boats because the pedestal seats at the driver console look like they would be alot more comfortable to sit in while riding. I am currently jammed up behind mine now with one leg kicked out on the side. I am only interested in aluminum and have been looking at the likes of lund, Alumacraft, Tracker pro guide v and even targas. I also would like to be able to fish 3 somewhat comfortably when needed. Do any of you guys who have those types of boats have any input? I also am curious how hard it is to get back in them from shore. Thx
