In Paducah there is a number of Art Galleries, the Flood Wall along the river has Murals painted on each section, The National Quilt Museum just to name a few.

There are more restaurants than you can shake a fork at. My favorite "restaurant" is actually a fish market in Lone Oak (near by) - the Gulf Coast Connection - the best, freshest and most reasonably priced place for FRESH seafood. The shop has a few tables and chairs for those who want to eat in. They run a truck once or twice a week to the Gulf Coast and supply not only their shop but most of the better restaurants beside. High end is the Freight House whose owner/chef is one of the final three in the Top Chef TV show.
