Other than that :

Slow falling water doesn't seem to be all that bad, but fast falling water will shut them off pretty good.
I use weedless jigs when fishing the wood at Taylorsville ... standing timber or fallen timber, and brushpiles.
I use marabou Road Runners a lot for shallow fish, as long as I can avoid wood cover. If wood cover is present, I fish over or beside it.
I target banks with shade in the early morning (post spawn period).
I've caught most of my Crappie at Taylorsville less than 15ft deep, regardless of season.
