Thread: What brand of coffee you all drink on the lake?

Dad ( an retired Marine ) used to get me up at 0300 every morning to have coffee with him. started back in the mid 60's. Started with what ever mom could get. Now it's Folgers "classic roast" most of the time. Local Market quit carring Community Coffee for some reason. My better half had me drinking that up till I couldn't find it locally. Will again when I can find it. Folgers till then. Auto drip at home, good ol' seeped in the pot when out camping. Knocks them cob webs right out when done right...

While we talking about coffee. How many will drink coffee on real hot day outside and it seem's to cool you off. I do this but have heard this a long time. Don't know if it's a myth or not but I do like my coffee.

I have and do Many times. Having been a cook in the service, as well as a freight relocation specialist, (i.e. truck driver), I guess it's force of habit...

I drink coffee in all weather. Not sure about the cooling one down, but don't mind to have hot cup in the heat of the day.
