Things change from day to day & area to area .... but, on that particular day we were running our jigs in the 10-12ft depth range & fishing in the 15-20fow depths. Areas without many Shad schools produced mostly dinks, but those with a concentration of Shad schools were producing fairly equal numbers of keepers & dinks.

Water was about 1ft over pool & temps were 81-83deg ... water color was normal to slightly clearer than normal.

Keepers are 9" & above, so I set a self imposed limit of 10" & above for fish that went into the livewell. The other 80 "keepers" were returned to the water along with the hundred or so "dinks" that were caught. Slabeye doesn't keep fish, just a record of how many keepers are caught, and I had intentions of only keeping a dozen or so, but lost count of the number in the livewell.

Wow, that's an amazing day. Nicely done.

That's an awesome day! I do the same with the size limit, 10 or better.
