    Any of the above will be fine. I lean toward Southern Crappie poles- they are really tough. I use 14' and 16'.

    I use the cypress creek rods for pulling jigs. They are tough as coffin nails. I feel like it would make a good starter set for someone who didn’t want to sink a ton of money into a trolling set. Might be a little light but they are very sensitive. I use 16’ slab cities to slow troll with and 12’ slab cities to guide with.
