Lots of you had minivan envy at camp, it is now taken care of thanks to my wife.

Our driveway is slanted and it makes the boat tongue about 2" higher than normal. When I loaded up the van for camp, I needed about 1/4" more height on the hitch. So I got out the floor jack and hooked it up. My wife asked what was doing, so I told her. A hour after I took off car dealerships started calling, and I found out she was truck shopping. I called her and she told me, "you're going to tear up my expensive van." So throughout the entire camp, she texted me continuously about what truck I wanted. BTW Sprint's service was horrible out there. I told her I just wanted an old van, which she flat out rejected. She also didn't like the old suburbans, so I gave her a list of what I wanted on a truck. She did well, and got everything I asked for too. Her budget was much higher than mine, and she is usually the tight one. It worked out great, as I got a very nice truck and I am not responsible for what it costs, though I pay the bills.
