This year, I got my trout stamp for the 1st time. Went to a local FIN lake, about 2 miles from my home here in Georgetown. I know these small lakes are put and take, because when it gets warm they (the trout)are pretty much toast in these shallow ponds. Caught my '5' limit and enjoyed them. Just good that you have another option for fishing and catching something during the cold months. I know the DNR puts a lot of effort into stocking these FIN lakes. Much appreciated!
