I just bought a new pair of very nice wire cutters for that. It does happen.

That's probably the 5-6th time THIS YEAR. I wore the 1/3 of the treble off a 6A Bomber all day in the spring when a catfish flopped and drove it out of site in my left index finger. I taped over it, finished the trip, cleaned their catch, then took braid line and wrapped around the hook shank and yanked it out. The ones in the hand aren't too painful. It's the ones in the arm that hurt BAD!!

A couple of years ago I buried one in my arm while working on the boat. I had to call my wife, who was in our living room, to come to the garage and get me loose. I left a blood trail that would have been the envy of a bowhunter into the bathroom where she helped me get the hook out.
