    I run the 2oz on my jigs and cranks. Mine have a barrel swivel on both ends.

    I just keep it simple. 2/3 of line out = depth.

    Yeah, but that still doesn't work unless the line angle is ~45deg. And when you're pushing at nearly 2mph, that's gonna take quite a bit of weight (or a whole lot more line out).

    I am working on some pushing and pulling in line weight charts. I just gotta survive upcoming surgery so I can git back to it. Hopefully I will have some realistic charts.

    Most of the guys I know have 5' leaders between their trolling sinkers and cranks.

    I use just enough so I can put the hook in my bait caster and not have them flopping around if I change locations on the lake.

    Weight should be 2/3 of line let out... so 2/3 of 15 is 10 so your weight is 10 pounds, 10 ounces??? Obviously I've missed something can anyone help me?
