Still plenty of water, and the same number of fish.

There's still 37,000+ acres of water in Cumberland ... making it the third largest body of water in the state. And there's still several ramps, around the lake, that are very usable right now. There's plans to extend some of the currently "high & dry" ramps, too. Cumberland Lake is too important to the state, to let it go to waste. ......... cp

I was down at Burnside Friday. The ramp at the island is good to go ( at 685 ), but Waitsboro was nothing but trouble for one guy trying to wade his way through the muck and get his boat back on the trailer. I didn't get to see any others; the wife was shopping at the mall and had to pick her up.

Yep, thats where I used to fish all the time back many years ago. Thats where my dad used to take me fishing. Those willows above the bridge have filled many a stringer over the years!

Default With the water drawn down...

where are the good spots to catch crappie on Cumberland? My brother and I usually fish the upper end of the lake near London Dock and all of the cover that we fish is now way up on the bank. Suggestions anyone?

BTW Hello everyone, new to the website.

    Thanks!
