    Crappie have been in hiding for the past 3 weeks on Cumberland

    Caught 2-15inchers today , missed several just off the bottom at 27 ft
    Most are probably deeper

    Got 7 more today smallest 12 3/4 and 2 @ 15in

    Did that a couple of weekends ago, up in the back of Wolf Creek ... straight out from the old Alligator #1 launch ramp. Only got 4 keepers, but they were nice ones. All Crappie caught were Blacks. They were about 15ft deep, over 30fow back then ... and all 4 keepers were caught at the farthest edge of the light (about 9ft away from the white headlight in styrofoam that I was using). Would NOT hit a jig/minner ... only hit on plain hook/minner.

    Had a 13in black clear the water twice and stick hi is head out 3 time shaking like a bass
