Crankin' on Ky Lake 6/06/17
Was able to get out this morning til about lunch time and chase some slabs. Did some spider rigging for about an hour, then hit some beds jigging, and both produced nothing......zero.....empty livewell!
Around 9am, I headed out to the main lake, did some scanning, and went to work with the cranks. Water temps had just started to hit 80 degrees, and when I found the fish, it was fins and fury! Stripes, yellows, kitty cats, green carp, a lone bluegill, and fresh mess of slabs!
Had a good time and it was my best outing to date pulling cranks. I have to put out a big thank you to MrDux, Doug Wynn, owner of Crappie-Gills-& More, for a great trip last week. My wife and I learned alot, and today was my first trip out since going to "Crank School", so I must have been paying attention!!
