Our fish cleaning crew estimated they cleaned around 300 fish, if that says anything about how they were biting. We didn't catch a "bunch" of Slabs, but we did have a good number of 1+lb fish caught.

Pulling cranks brought in good numbers AND size, as did several other methods.

Green is a numbers lake, more than a size lake ... but, there are many Slabs in there. A feller that was pre-fishing for the CUSA tourney, the weekend prior to the Fling, caught a 3lb Black Crappie two days before the tourney. So the potential for a wall hanger is always there !!

2 boats of us from KY Lake area caught over 100 keepers in 2 days and released a ton of 9-9.5" fish without even counting them. We were pulling cranks on flats in up to 40 feet of water. We had some 12-14 inch fish but nowhere near the average size we would see at home.

Fish was caught in a wide variety of depths and tactics. MRDux told us he was fishing in 40 feet of water, I was fishing in less than ten feet of water. My wife and I caught a lot of fish for us. Only had a few keepers, but that's typical green river with a lot of small fish. Fish we're biting very light, sucking in the minnow and swimming with it while I was trolling. Caught a few that I didn't think I had on the pole. Didn't have any to slam one of my poles.
