    Default Crappie not done yet on kentucky lake


    Got on the water about 6.30 fished till 11.30 in pretty good wind. Managed to come off lake with 20.

    They never done, just go into Hover mode.

    Every fish I have caught this year has been prespawn except for a few dark colored males. But yesterday their eggs were looking more fready than ever this year. I always fish deep may be the reason.

    I've cleaned somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 fish the last two weeks and I have saw one female that looked like her eggs were ready.

    Actually I'm neither confident or cocky. I'm just glad to get out and do some fishing. Over the last 8 months my business has been very busy with no fishing time at all. Thanks for all the info on this site and if I do any good I will post it. JC
