    I am looking for any info on Laurel River Lake. I have a buddy that just moved in that area & wants me to come down fishing.

    Only thing I can tell you about it is :

    very clear water, normally

    As far as Crappie go ... the KDFWR "forecast" for 2017 says "FAIR" - Low density population, but some larger (9-inch plus) crappie are caught each year.Upper Laurel River arm near city dam is best area.

    (personally speaking, I would have given it a "Poor" rating for Crappie with those size & population numbers)
