It's a simple enough fix on the JC Ramps
Instead of buying $2000-5000.00 of electronics and other equipment then invest a little money back into the local economy by paying a ramp fee occasionally on high wind days at the local marinas. I agree the Harry Lee Ramp is in rough condition but it's been that way as long as I can remember so instead of addressing a issue that has been around for decades the more appropriate thing to ask for would be larger tiered parking lots on both sides to accommodate the overflow that continually gets worse.

    Ding!Ding! Ding!

I just dropped several $$ for yearly launch and use fees at 2 locals marinas.Having my Bay Pro sideways on the rocks at the the JC public ramp then breaking a prop off my RipTide when the wind blew me into the courtesy dock made the decision easy for me. Cheaper too!
