Thread: Fishtrap..

I grew up in Pikeville and use to fish Fishtrap alot. Lots of Crappie, but small. It was always a challenge to navigate it beacause of trash floating. I can remember some nice stringers of crappie and my Dad caught a 16" slab on the Forth of July. Man I caught everything in that lake, Muskie, smallies, hybrids, you name it. Silt runoff has hurt it I hear. Anyone else fish the "TRAP"?

I've fished the "TRAP" a few times in the past year. Hear reports from time to time that good stringers still come out of there. My last trip was late January, caught several small crappie, one 12 incher, and a 6 pound striper.
