Thanks!! Got my staples out of the knee today. I'm having a serious pain issue that is a mystery to my surgeon. I have a severe stabbing pain deep in my upper thigh, just below my hip ball socket. When it hits it puts me on my back. He wants to give it a couple more weeks. I'm walking great with no cane as long as my pain is being dealt with. PT is going well, I'm just not where they want me to be with range of motion bending the knee. I am able to lift my left without assistance from the PT and they are glad that is working.

I haven't gotten my tackle boxes cleaned out as planned but I'm figuring on pushing things really hard once I get past the cataract surgery tomorrow. I stop in here every day or so but joining in just makes me want to be out there even more.
The thoughts and prayers are felt and appreciated.

had cataracts in both eyes bout 2 years ago. i got a super lens for those with astigmatism. costs me a bundle that medicare wouldn't pay for since they consider the extra "cosmetic", but I can see about as good as Superman.

    Good luck.

Thinking bout doing my right knee, but haven't been willing to pull the trigger yet. Maybe soon.

Hang in there buddy. I'm sure several here will volunteer to take your tackle home to organize it.

Keep on getting better Doug. Pretty soon you will be able to do a jig to the boat and actually see where you are going!
