I fish Cedar a lot but have to agree that I have NOT done well until the water temps get to 50degrees

Guess that explains something. I have been a maybe 4-5 times over the last 3-5 years and never done much down there on crappie. Have picked upa few bass when out randomly. But water temps have always been in the 40's when I have been there. And there was that one time when the boat just wouldn't start so put it back on the trailer and went back home. (Got a new boat shortly there after...) But guess I need to hit a day when the water temps are up a bit more. I am like someone else though, the lack of success down there and from Lexington almost the same time to putting in at Taylorsville is just where I tend to head.
