Best advice I can give you on Taylorsville is .... get there early, fish the blowdowns, fish the banks that stay shaded throughout most of the day, start shallow and work your way deep. I've also noticed that the Crappie seem to like blue/char tubes &/or pink marabou Roadrunners. (& so do the Bass
)
This site : https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer...825378413&z=14 ... can put you on some of the cover dropped by the KDFWR.
And if you've been "out of the game" for the last 10yrs or so ... you're going to be pleasantly surprised at the size of Crappie that are now roaming the water of Taylorsville Lake. The last couple of years have been awesome for size. We've gotten into many 12-14" fish, and hope to repeat that during this coming year.
