Green got a little over 2" of rain in the last 24hrs ... causing it to rise a little over 7" in that time frame ... and the thermocline is still around the 15' depth (at the dam) ... according to the COE Lake Report charts. The charts also indicate that the lake has received over 6" of rainfall runoff for the month of July (so far).

That being said, I defer to those that have actually been there to relate their findings on the "conditions" of the water and the general location of where those conditions exist ... though I would expect the waters to be dirty to muddy in those areas where water enters the lake, like the major creek arms & the Casey Creek/Green River confluence. The COE does not seem to be "flushing" the lake, as the output on the chart shows only 345CFS (as of this AM), so the extent of the incoming "dirty" water may not be far reaching.

I bet they hold Green, Rough, Barren and Nolin for a bit and ease the water out into the ohio slowly. Not sure what the miss is like, it may can take a bunch of it. They are dumping KY and barkley now.

Seen on FB Slabanator's page ... lake is up another 20" and rising, and the water coming under the bridge is "muddy". (which is to be expected after a day of up to 10,000cfs of incoming water, then ~5000cfs of incoming water today .. and only 351cfs of outflow, today)

The water looked good at Holmes bend. It not up to the very top of the ramp but pretty close. Didn't see anything float but I just drove up to it and not on the water.
