Green got a little over 2" of rain in the last 24hrs ... causing it to rise a little over 7" in that time frame ... and the thermocline is still around the 15' depth (at the dam) ... according to the COE Lake Report charts. The charts also indicate that the lake has received over 6" of rainfall runoff for the month of July (so far).
That being said, I defer to those that have actually been there to relate their findings on the "conditions" of the water and the general location of where those conditions exist ... though I would expect the waters to be dirty to muddy in those areas where water enters the lake, like the major creek arms & the Casey Creek/Green River confluence. The COE does not seem to be "flushing" the lake, as the output on the chart shows only 345CFS (as of this AM), so the extent of the incoming "dirty" water may not be far reaching.
