    Barren (~45 min from house) or Barkley (~1.5 hours from house)? Way more familiar with Barren but know of a few spots to try at Barkley as well. Probably go out of state park ramp at either lake.

    Either way plan to be on the water before sun up.

    If you have the time never turn down a chance to fish Barkley or KY.

    Barren water temp was 75 when I left Tues. and from what I can tell, the tail end of the spawn. Thursdays report for Barkley was 65 degrees, and I would guess not as far along in the spawn. Good luck.
