I've got some questions for the Tville regulars.

1. What is the biggest crappie you have ever caught from Tville?

2. What is the average size crappie you catch consistantly at Tville?

3. How often do u take home a limit of crappie from Tville?

I'm just curious as to the quality of fish everyone is experiencing and the shear number of crappie the lake produces. My brother talked to our fisheries biologist and he said Tville was one of the most fertile lakes in the state. He said it was a true crappie factory. From what I experienced last year I believe him. Also the spring flooding hindered fishing thru the spawning months and kept all those fish from being caught, which made for outstanding fishing from June- Jan. Not to mention the warmer than usual water temps throughout the fall/early winter.
I've only been able to manage 12 1/2" as my biggest fish, with quite a few fish being 11-12". My biggest 7 fish weight was 5lbs back in June. I know there are bigger fish in Tville, especially during prespawn. We are always focusing on Ky Lake during April and haven't really been able to fish Tville during prespawn. Tville seems to be about 2 weeks behind Ky Lake for the spawn so we are always gone during prespawn time here. Plus, by the time we get back from our West Ky trip the wives are beginning to wonder if we still love them, so I have take a couple weeks off from fishing. Haha.
Thanks guys for all the awesome info. I'm really glad I became a member. Looking forward to some bigger numbers to shoot for.
