So right now im casting and long line trolling curly tail grubs and paddle tail bodies like Charlie Brewers. These 2 types of jig bodies, the shad bodies with the straight thin tail, and the grub body with the tail that is hollow and pointed like the slab slayer.Should i be trying to implement these in my casting and trolling?I usually dont have access to docks. How are you guys using these 2 bodies? How will they fit into my casting, longline trolling and occasional vertical jigging? Also, the tail on the slab slayer type, does the hollow part of the tail go up or down? Thanks in advance for any thoughts.
I rarely pull anything but curlytails when longlining. I use Sheltons, Southern Pro and Bobby Garland strollers. I'm painting some tiny cranks now that I'll pull behind planer boards. I just like the extra movement when trolling..
I'm not familiar with the baits you mentioned.
