Can't help with any specific fishing info, as I haven't fished Cedar Creek in quite awhile. But, this site has a couple of "news" items that may be of some value to you : News | Cedar Creek Lake Outfitters | 8460 US Hwy 150 East, Crab Orchard Kentucky 606-355-0100 (esp. the one about the drawdown)

Unfortunately, the fishing report on the site is from Oct 9th ... so it's not really any help, either. But, if you have good electronics ... search the main lake timber for schools of Crappie.

And yes, please do post a report (+/-) on your trip. Just don't give out specific spots, and if you take pictures to post ... make the bottom of the boat or sky as your backdrop (or parking lot or home driveway), so you don't give away your location (to those that know the lake well enough to identify the shoreline. Make the meat hog internet trollers work for their fish

FYI ... the lake is "supposed" to only have Black Crappie in it, but I have a suspicion that there's some White Crappie roaming those waters, as well. There's also some Blacknose Black Crappie in there .. and I know that for a fact (caught some).
