Barren "REPORT"
Got out on Barren last Friday, day before Halloween, wondered if all the rain of previous day would have an affect, we'll see. The sun hadn't come over the trees yet but but it was light enough to see that fog was rolling across the surface of the water. Had to beach the boat and park up in the lot as my partner this day is a school bus driver. As I made my way down the hill, I could see that the fog wasn't so bad that I wouldn't be able to see to navigate but figured I'd use the Navionics on my Hellix 5 that day, just because I had it. Water was colored up and the spots I'd hit further south got worse, so I didn't spend too much time below the 31E bridge. It did seem to help the bite to move north, but still nothing in the boat to brag on. My buddy calls so I wrap up and head to the ramp, pick up him and his gear, and we punch a hole in the lingering fog. We make our way a little further north, scaring up a flock of coots on our way to a sure fire spot. Well that sure fire spot was full of dinks that day too. It was good day for scenery and to snap a few pictures, better than sitting home listening to those political adds.
If I win, send a pack of "Green Tomato", I'm out and can't find them in the stores.

Everything is possible. The impossible just takes longer!
