Thread: Best way to hook minnows in the lips , eyes , or back

If I put them on a plain hook ... behind the eyeballs (not piercing them).

If I put them on a jig ... up through the V of the throat and out between the nostrils for live ones & in through the mouth and out behind the head for "recently" dead ones.

Through the back is OK ... but, only if the boat is stationary.

Black spot of nostril, down, IMHO they live a lot longer. Have done eyes, lips, tail and dorsil the best.
