Thread: fished green yesterday

Well since I am not fishing the tourney in a couple of weeks I can tell how we did. We caught 103 crappie but only 24 were keepers. We caught them spider rigging, long line trolling and even found some next to the bank and pitched jigs to them. Most that we caught trolling were scattered all over the flats any where from 3 foot deep to 12 foot deep no matter how deep the water. The water temps were 58.6 in most places.

Thanks for the report. Were you using minnows or jigs? I usually prefer jigs on Green. Seems like the short fish prefer minnows.

We were using both. When we were pitching to the bank we used jigs only but the little ones liked them too.
