First I want to get a shout out to Joe, Randy, Wiskers and the fine people at Jonathon Creek who came to our aid after my buddy got in the water when the boat slid out from under him as he stepped in. Very special people. This incident was one of several that tried our patience and was the worst. First off was a bent axle on my boat trailer 30 miles from home. Local towing company got it to their shop on a row back. Next, I top off my gas on the way to the barn to get the old boat. The four wheel drive actuator goes out as I leave the station and gears start rubbing on the front axle. Thanks to my brother in-law and his truck and my 27 year old Cajun boat we got to fish for three days in great weather. The fishing was tuff for sure but we stumbled into some nice black's on Barkley. Did not get on them til late in the day when we needed to be on the road for home. We kept 8 that were 14- 15 inches. My buddy is fine after being a little sore, truck is repaired and thanks to the fine people at Marine Works in Harrougsburg, a no cost trailer axle is on the way. Great folks to deal with. Pretty much sums up the experience of all fisherman at some point.
