Lakemaster maps on Kentucky and Barkley

Hey guys I was wondering whether you all had any experience using the Lakemaster chips on Kentucky and Barkley? I usually fish the Paris Landing area but also fish in some of the LBL bays mainly off of Kentucky. I'm considering getting an Ipilot link and using it with my Humminbird 999 but wanted to see if you guys think it's worth it.

There is absolutely no comparison in my Navionics Premium and the LakeMaster v2 cards. The detail on KY and Barkley are so much better and more accurate on the LakeMaster v2 it is not even close. Keep in mind the LakeMaster v1 has no contour detail on Barkley. You must get the V2.

I own the Navionics but have considered getting LakeMaster and when I look online I only see what I think it is V1.

Thanks a bunch Murdux! Have you been in the Paris Landing area specifically Swamp Creek? Navionics has nothing in the wildlife refuge area. Maybe it's not legal to survey in those areas??

The Navionics has very poor contour detail in Blood River and that has cost me a boatload of crankbaits. The LakeMaster V2 has great contour detail everywhere on KY Lake I have used it. That doesn't mean I no longer lose a bunch of cranks----I do! Just can't blame it on the map card now.

I highly recommend you check this out first! Just released by Humminbird/Lakemaster.

Be advised that this charting is only available to work with certain units right now but the list is being expanded to include some of the older units.
