    I want to buy the V2 Chip, but I give Humminbirds Website a big "F" on user friendly. I have a hummingbird 597 ci HD mounted on the front of the boat. Will the LakeMaster V2 work in a Humminbird 597? Thanks Guys

    Hey Ricky, will all the units you have listed allow shading of certain depths and also let you change depth readings on the map to match lake levels?

    I would assume so (maybe Greg can confirm) ...

    The Shallow Water Highlight and the Water Level Offset are features of the LakeMaster card data ...

    Got my Lakemaster V2 chip in Friday and finally got to look at the areas of Ky lake I fish and man what a difference!! Thanks Mrdux and Murraycrappie for your input. It shows great definition I don't get with my Navionics chip in the Big Sandy area and even some bays I fish.
    Now it needs to warm up a little so I can do on the water testing!

    I just got my new Lakemaster map now I have one of each ...Like the Lakemaster much better. Lakemaster includes many bays that the Navionics doesn't have. Thanks all
