My bass boat needs carpet and am considering doing something like rhino liner or something similar.. Has anyone done this , looking for ideas good or bad?

I have seen it done and it looks good if applied professionally! I'd go with white cause the black and darker colors get hot!

Adds weight......go with the glue with rubber crushed thrown over the top. You can buy the rubber crushed in 5 gallon buckets. Guy who built my boat lets it dry then shop vacs up extra and back into the bucket. Floor is off-white with a little bluengray. Agree with floor cover. Old boat had a light brown and was to hot in the summer for bare feet.

Pic is not up close and to cold today for more pics! Coating has been on the boat for 4 years with no issue and I am on the water a fair amount. Wash off with pressure washer. I get the deck dirty with hoop nets and trotlines but cannot tell.

I would not put truck bed liner in a boat. It adds weight, it is hot (mine was light tan), and it is rough on fishing rods and reels. It scratches your reels and tears up cork rod handles.

I put in wood grain Hydroturf in mine after stripping out the bed liner. It is super. Hoses right off, is cooler, is softer so it doesn't tear up your gear or feet, and it made the boat quieter.

You can find seconds online that aren't terribly priced. It may cost more than the bed liner in a can stuff but I found it to be many, many times better and is holding up much better than carpet.
