Thread: Get ready, its almost here.

Another growing season is coming to a close. Still getting tomatoes, a few squash, an zucchini but they're spotty and not nearly as pristine as they look in the spring. Now when I go out to check my garden in the mornings, its just cool enough that my coffee mug feels good on my fingers and nubs! The mornings have been foggy as of late and makes me think about rising fog on the lake when we search the shoreline for that first brush pile. I texted my buddy an asked him if he wanted to try for or first crappie trip on Monday. He texted back "what is this fishing thing you speak of?" What a jokester Gonna give it a go. Another favorite time of year begins.

Slabseeker1, I have been thinking the same thing . Nice narration and gets the crappie juices flowing. I went Thursday looking around and playing with my depth finder and never caught a fish. Need new line and some baits made. Like you I can't wait for the fall bite. I need to put some more stuff out but I am to lazy right now. Maybe next week. Right!!
