So my family finally got some good news today, my brother was released from the hospital after having surgery last week to remove colorectal cancer, the doctor reported back today also that the lymph nodes she removed around where the tumor was came back negative for cancerous cells. He does still have to do another round of chemo just to be on the safe side, as well as adjust to life with a colostomy bag, but he is taking it very well. I just want to stress gettting screened cause this can be caught early, some say by bloodwork, and if not get a colonoscopy, and don't ignore symptoms.

IMO .. Since it's in the family, you might want to go get a colonoscopy yourself (if you haven't already). Easy test and I'm told it's THE BEST way to prevent colon cancer!
