Frabill EZ Check R ???????
This is probably an old question, but has anyone noticed that this device is not accurate. Been using it for years and noticed the other day cleaning fish that it seemed 1/16th off. We always keep fish over nine, but I know many keep them if they "touch the line." I noticed this because the fish we thought were over 9 were right at 9 which is the limit for Green.
Seems like the device has added the plastic at the bottom where the fish's nose goes as part of the measurement.
I may be just crazy, but measured it with a tape measure and it was off. I have two and they are both the same way so I don't think it is just a defect with one. Would not have noticed it if my table didn't have a measure on it.
Not trying to stir up trouble, just making folks aware so they don't get a ticket!!!!
thoughts?
