Hey guys taking the wife and kids camping at Green this weekend gonna stay at the state park. How is the fishing is spawn still on? What depth? I figure it will be good if I can get them on fish big or small as long as they are catching them I can keep fishingI hear Green has the numbers but I have never been there. Also do they have a beach area for the kids to play in the water? Any help would be appreciated. I will trade info on Green for info about Cave Run if anyone is fishing the CUSA tourney there this weekend.

PT ... I may be guessing, but based on my past experiences on Green and considering the colder/longer Winter we had, plus the recent fast rise in water levels from the rains, and the fact that I used to catch spawning fish in the State Park area late April to early May :
You may very well find some spawning fish in the area. I'll elaborate in a PM
The State Park Campground (Lone Valley) does have a beach area for swimming, but the weather & water temps might prove to be a bit too chilly. They do have Mini-golf & a playground area.
