Thread: jealous

I am jealous of all you guys who live in western ky near such great lakes. Back home in ohio and i catch keepers at the 9" limit and i throw them back because i came to ky lake 1 time and the fish here look anorexic compared to the fish down there! One day when i get older i guess i can move near such a great place. Enjoy every moment you can!

Sounds like my early years of making the yearly trek to Ky lake. I've been coming down here for 29 years, 27 consecutive. I'd spend a week at first, then about 10 years in, 2 weeks. Now i'm retired and single and can stay as long as I like. For the last couple years I've been blessed to stay at least a month at a time. Made 3 trips down last year from PA. Put your time in working and taking care of the family and eventually you'll get to spend more time down here. I spent 37 years in a steel mill before I could do it. Hang in there Ripper. Been there, done that. GOD willing, your time will come. And i'm slammin the slabs too.
