Thread: Cave Run lake question

I am planing my first fishing trip to Cave run and have a couple of questions for you guys. I will probably go the first week of May and camp at Twin Knobs campground.
I see there is a boat ramp there and wondered if this was a good place to put in for some crappie fishing. Or should I camp closer to another ramp?
Would it be worth while to troll for them or do most of you jig or spider rig?
Is it better that time of year in the main lake, the creeks or the river?
