So I've been poking around on ky lake this week doing a little pre fishing in prep for Saturdays tourney. For whatever reason my normal go to spots aren't producing like they usually do so I decided to poke around in some other areas. Normally I avoid Jonathan creek this time of the year cause I'm not into playing bumper boats but decided halfway through today to go give it a shot in hopes of finding some better fish. Boy was that a mistake. I'd say there was 75 boats on the little side when I got there. I eased upwind of the crowd, got my rods set out, and watched the asshattery unfold. I've never seen so many people jockey to fish the same 300 yard stretch of water in my entire life. I saw 3 boats literally spider rigging the same marker buoyAfter about an hour and a half I'd had all I wanted and was on my way to find less crowded surroundings when I noticed 2 boats spider rigging side by side literally 10 feet apart. Mind you the wind was blowing 10-14mph and the lake was almost white capping. Boat number one catches a fish and in landing it lets off his motor for a split second and drifts into boat number 2's spider rig tangling their rods together.
I almost feel sorry for all these out of staters that vacation here and deal with that crap for a week solid....almost
