I'll be down in 18 days. Too bad I wont get to shoot da breeze with ya. I'll be sure to post pics of all the fun. Lol. Water temps are looking good. Since I dont fish with the crowds there should be some fish on the spots I marked last year. I hope lol. All my efforts will be on the north end. Im sure I'll find em with the new side scan I got. Be safe wiskers.

if that barge had rod holders there wouldn't be any bridges left between Paducah and new Orleans
probably wouldn't be many fish left either.

Terry, here is a few hostages taken today from 5-9 FOW. The wind was killer, stuck it out until noon and had enough.
Nice to see the water patrol out doing their job and handing out tickets today. If they stay consistent our fishery will only become better.

Quackrstackr and I broke out the longline gear this afternoon. We finally put the wind to our advantage and got on a pattern in 8-12 feet. Ended up with 23 keepers with mostly white females with a few blacks thrown in. Couldn't find any big fish. Didn't see another boat all afternoon with the longline poles out.

I did come out money ahead today. Hooked and dragged up a high-dollar rod and reel that hadn't been wet long.
