    Default Map Help


    On the west side of Kentucky Lake there is a small bay south of Sledd Creek and north of Little Bear.
    I have not found any map that gives it a name.
    Does it have a name, and if so, what is it?

    Lots of locals call it Sun Democrat. No idea why but mention it to long-timers and they know where you are talking about.

    I have an idea why this might be so. On one map there is a marker for the "Paducah Newspaper Employees Club Dock" on this bay. And given the Paducah paper used to be the Paducah Sun Democrat I see the link.

    Paducah sun used to have some cabins and a dock and ramp in there many years ago and the name just kind of stuck because of it
