Thread: Best Pool on the ky river

Just wonder which pool everyone thought was best on the ky river? Also hows the fishing in elkhorn as far as crappie?

Elkhorn gets shallow rather quickly up past the Strohmeier ramp. I'd say you could catch plenty within 500 yards of the river. Any of the creeks should be good when the spawn starts. Benson gets loaded up with boats when the water gets right. We caught them last year from the river up past the connector bridge.

Is that little benson or benson? Is Benson creek the best place to launch? In the main river do you just fish cover? I grew up fishing the creeks on the ohio around maysville and agustua. Live in georgetown now trying to find some good fishing close.
