Everything looks great to me, except, for one, small, tiny, little thing . #10 of the rules. Releasing all weighed fish back into the lake. I know CUSA only does this at the classic, not at the local or super events. Some people, after possible traveling far distance to attend the tourneys, may would like to keep some fish. I kinda hate to bring it up because i am like most, who wants to get the rules done and over with. But i also would hate to see someone catch, say, 15 keepers, weigh 7 of them and have to put back half of their catch. Just a suggestion and sorry for making waves.........

I think that rule can be amended, without any major uproar. I wondered about that rule, myself, but it was part of the CUSA rules ... so I left it in there. And you do bring up an important issue, that we may want to touch on ... that being that you can catch a limit per person, BUT you can ONLY bring a maximum of 7 fish to be weighed in. Once weighed, you should have the option of keeping or releasing them.

And just as a side note : while we will be furnishing scales to weigh the fish on, and likely a Golden Rule measure board to measure them on, we will NOT be furnishing any form of "bag" or other device to carry your fish to the weigh-in with. That will be the responsibility of each team to provide their own. And since fish stringers or baskets are prohibited means of containment/transport during the tournament, they also should not qualify as carrying devices to the weigh-in.

You already have in rule #10, that a team can not weight in more than 7 fish, so your good there. As far as fish limit per person, you have it in rule #8, teams complying to state fishing and boating regulations. The only thing i see that you may want to change the reading is, instead of releasing all fish, is, once a teams fish have been weighed they have the otpion to keep them or release them back into the lake. Stringers and baskets, i don't think will keep your fish alive long enough to be weigh in anyways.
