These pictures were taken in Niamey, Niger, Africa and my son told me that the eyes of the people there tell it all. They never look you in the eye as they are saving their energy to find something to eat to sustain them thru another day.     He oes to the project and works with underprivileged kids every other weekend now which should help to prep him for the trip.
