Default Feeling good about my ole boat.

There are days when I look around at some of the boats and the equipment and then I look at my old 1989 Bass Tracker Panfish Pro and wonder, if I had one of those I could do better....... Well today a buddy and I went out and fished came back, loaded the boat and pulled up in the parking lot to stow things for the trip home. While putting things away, a new Triton pulls up on one side and not long after a Ranger pulls on the other side. Well I take to looking again an one of the guys asks "Catch any?" and my buddy says "We kept 27." The fellas in the other boat come and look in our cooler and the one guy said, "We never caught the first crappie." Right about now, I'm feeling pretty good about that ole boat!Name: barre.jpg

It sure is! It seems to be the central ramp for most all the spots I hit.

Boats don't catch fish......most people had rather look good as to catch fish i gave 1000 dollars for a old 94 glassport that people have named it the blue submarine because it sets so low in the water. And I bet there has been way more fish caught in it, as most of the fancy boats. They got to work to pay for it and I got to work so I can go fishing

I got a 2013 Xpress HD20 with a 200 Yamaha SHO. Hasn't helped my fish catching one bit. I still don't catch many!!! Congrats on your catch and for keeping good enough care of your boat, so it would last that long.

A PF-16 was my first boat. Got it hoping to use it as a duck boat, and did, but found that it was a great fishing boat if you are in to fishing and not running around the lake as fast as you can. With the stick steer you can set down in the front seat and never leave it the whole day if you don't want to. Everything you need with maybe the exception of the choke knob on the motor is right there within reach.

Ended up selling it to a father and son in Plano when I bought a boat better suited for duck hunting. Wished I could have justified keeping it.

Your boat can also get in some places those bigger boats can't. A lot of times that's where the fish are.

A fisherman will outfish a fishing boat every time! Good post.
