Thanks everyone for all the prayers and get wells. I will post something after surgery and let you guys know what is happening. Right now being helped by my wonderful wife who I find will do anything. First time I have ever been down and it is hard being dependent on a lot of people. I know I have a lot of great friends here that would be there in a heartbeat. You all catch some fish and share !

Hope everything goes well with the surgery and for a complete recovery. I did the same thing with my ankle except they took bones out instead of plating and screws. After surgery, they will cast your leg and foot. If they will let you, ask them for the "space boot" also. Not sure of the medical name for it. It has a hard sole and it comes up to almost your knee. Has velcro straps at the foot and up the leg. I wore mine over the cast. Along with the crutches, it helped alot to be able to get around. I still have mine if you need to use one. Take care.

You can't keep a good man down. If there is a way, you will find it. May be a good time to make some lures.
Maybe when you are feeling better, we can have lunch when I am in the area.

    Hang in there buddy.
