Thanks, Wiskers. It's tough, but we find strength day by day. God bless your wife and her Mother too. Catch a crappie for me!

First year since 1983 that I haven't been to Kentucky Lake in the Spring to crappie fish. Breaking my heart.

Thank you wannabe fisherman! Never thought it would hurt so much to watch my Mother go down after being my hero forever!

Thanks, Speck. Don't know for sure who this is, but think I might. It's kinda strange, Ann and I thought we were prepared for losing her, but when it came right down to it, we both fell apart. Her heart rate dropped to 20 and she was airlifted to Jackson because she couldn't live to get to Nashville. She had 3 bleeding tears/ulcers in her esophagus/tummy, renal failure, and much more. She had to have a pacemaker and is home but requiring 24 hr care, me and Ann worn out but taking turns. As you know, Mother is tougher than nails; I only hope I can be like her. Otherwise, I hope you are well and happy. Life is good and I am blessed beyond measure. I wish you well.

Thoughts and prayers for all of you. I lost my mom in 2001, it still doesn't seem right her not being here. But she's in a far better place. No pain.
Take you kids fishing today!!! They will be grown (and married and have children of their on) tomorrow. Then you can take your GRANDKIDS!

Hey Buffalo 13, thanks for your thoughts and prayers. I am sorry for your loss, and I know how long ago 2001 was, so the fact that you think of her often shows how much you loved and still do love her. I don't know how I will stand losing mine. To call her cell phone and her not answer. To have no Mother to look up to and take out to Nashville on her birthdays. When I go visit, she always wants me to sleep on her bed rather than the loveseat (what a fake name! Ha) in the living room, but never will I take her bed. But that's what Mothers do, sacrifice everything for their children for as long as they live. God Bless all the Mothers in the World! I am proud to be one!

Hey TP, sorry I forgot your Speck name! I thought it could be John...but then No, I knew it was you. Good to hear from you. Bet you have caught a blue million specks this year! My freezer is getting REAL low, so I gotta get to you know where real soon! Mother is better, staying some during the day by herself. Ann is going to try leaving her alone this weekend. A big step. But she is doing well, thank God! Hope your Mom and all the family are well. See ya one day...maybe...
