Yes, they are quite tasty. I've been catching some from the local park lake, here in Lex.
They are stocker fish, so their flavor is extremely mild compared to the wild variety. They range in size from 8-11" in this lake, and will bite on a variety of baits. I've caught them, or seen them caught, on worms, Crappie Nibbles & other "powerbait" varieties, corn, spinners, and even Chicken Livers !!
